Ron has been a practising lawyer for over 30 years and has a broad experience across all commercial sectors including a 2 year stint as a corporate lawyer for a large construction employer group in Sydney.

Ron’s main area of practise has been in the high end commercial and construction space.  Ron has worked on many projects in Australia and abroad on projects such as the rebuilding of East Timor after the uprising, the Sydney 2000 Olympics (2 year project), Hong Kong, Australian Embassy Bangkok and Australian Embassy Hanoi in Vietnam and Middle East.  Most of these projects were managed in a largely collaborative environment as a lot of Ron’s work has been at the front end of the project crafting terms and conditions of contracts, vetting tenders for large infrastructure projects and also small projects and in recent times has undertaken a commercial management role in major infrastructure works in Sydney and Melbourne.

Ron has a lot of practical industry experience and has undertaken training courses for contract administrators of various large contractors, dealing with such topics as the pitfalls in contracting, traps for the unwary and the proper use of the contract document so as to achieve a good result without destroying the relationship with the client whilst maintaining profitability in the project.
